MySpace
February 4, 2009
Over the past two years MySpace has removed 90,000 sex offenders from the platform. This was made possible by utilizing “Sentinel SAFE,” a database of known sex offenders. Other measures have also been put in place, including making it tougher for older users to search and connect with younger users. This was made possible through “our longstanding partnership with law enforcement and state attorneys general.” [s][s]
